Ilse Syonthi Kithembe, is the Co-founder of GGI and serves as the current secretary to the board. Syonthi, a member of the CBO, holds a masters degree in human rights law and a bachelor’s degree in International relations and diplomacy. At the board, she serves as a vision bearer of the CBO and is a permanent member of the board.

Hobbies: Reading, watching sunrises and sunsets by the beach, and gyming

Fun Fact: I am a Swahili lover, so much that I have broken records in Swahili language performance.

Priscah Mobutu Mongera is the co-founder of GGI and serves as the current treasurer to the board. Priscah, a member of the CBO, holds a Bachelors of Science in strategic development. At the board, she serves as a vision bearer of the CBO and a permanent member of the board.

Mercy Mawia Musili serves as the current chair of the GGI advisory board. Mercy, a member of the CBO, holds a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture and a post graduate diploma in project management. She brings in her expertise in women in climate action out of her years of experience working in rural Lunga Lunga and other parts of the country with farmers.
